Vikara, in Ancient Sanskrit Language translates as Transformation, Modification, Change. Array, in Old English, references a way to describe Fine Clothing, and in Modern Times, Alignment.
Vikara Array is an Ethical, Independent, Ready to Wear Clothing Line, founded by April Nevada Graves, she who believes that Transformation is possible through Alignment.
Inspired by organic shapes and materials found in nature, Vikara Array meshes a universal selection of natural textiles to create Multi-Functional clothing intended to ignite and uplift positive transformation from the internal to the external.
Combining innovation, functionality, and sustainability with timeless, edgy, unconventional, authenticity as a means to celebrate the Bodily Temple in it’s many facets. She believes that the garment has an effect on the human condition as its vibrational color ways and fabrications not only affect ones mood, but also become a protective shell for the sensitive spirit.

Meet the Designer
April Nevada Graves is Founder at Vikara Array.
Born in Oakland, California and raised throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, California, she began to hand sew and design with her mother at age 5, frequenting fabrics stores together was where the magic began. At age 16, her father taught her how to thread her first sewing machine, as he learned from his mother, having been Cotton Pickers in Midway, Alabama.
Full Circle, She attended Pratt Institute School of Art and Design for Fashion Design, Brooklyn, New York, where her love for dance and physical movement could not be denied leading her to explore the world of Modern Dance and Vinyasa Flow Yoga, further deepening her interest in Yoga through the methodology of Samudra Global School of Living Yoga.
Alongside being an Independent Fashion Designer, April is a Registered Yoga Instructor actively leading private sessions throughout Los Angeles, California.
Vikara Array is a reflection of April Nevada's love for Fashion and Yoga and her way of weaving a sensible and accessible path towards inner peace and harmony here on Earth.
